Modern Slavery Statement
Last updated March 2026
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps Arkline AI has taken, and continues to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chain.
Our Business
Arkline AI is a technology company registered in England providing intelligence infrastructure for the insurance, finance, logistics, and real estate industries. Our products include Peril Watch (real-time peril monitoring) and Command (portfolio exposure management).
Our workforce consists of a small team of technology professionals based in the United Kingdom. We operate as a software-as-a-service business with no physical manufacturing, warehousing, or manual labour supply chains.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain is predominantly digital and comprises:
- Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers (e.g., Vercel, Supabase, AWS)
- Software-as-a-service tools for development, communication, and analytics
- Payment processing services (e.g., Stripe)
- Public data sources (e.g., NOAA, NASA, USGS)
- State-level parcel and property assessment data
- AI model providers for natural language processing
We do not procure physical goods, raw materials, or manual labour services. Our principal suppliers are established technology companies with their own published modern slavery policies and compliance programmes.
Our Policies
Arkline AI is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings. We maintain the following standards:
- All staff are employed under contracts that comply with UK employment law, including the National Minimum Wage Act, the Working Time Regulations, and the Equality Act 2010
- We do not use forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour of any kind
- We verify the right to work of all employees and contractors in accordance with UK Home Office guidance
- We expect the same standards from our suppliers and business partners
Risk Assessment
Given the nature of our business (software development and digital services) and our supply chain (established technology providers), we assess the risk of modern slavery occurring within our operations or first-tier supply chain as low. We do not operate in high-risk geographies or industries typically associated with forced labour.
We remain vigilant and will reassess this position as our business grows, particularly if our supply chain expands into new territories or procurement categories.
Due Diligence
We take the following steps to identify and mitigate risk:
- Reviewing the modern slavery policies and statements of our key suppliers
- Prioritising suppliers who demonstrate commitment to ethical labour practices
- Including appropriate contractual provisions in supplier agreements where applicable
- Providing awareness to our team regarding modern slavery indicators and reporting mechanisms
Reporting Concerns
We encourage anyone who suspects or becomes aware of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain to report it. Concerns can be raised confidentially by contacting hello@arkline.ai.
We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action. No individual will suffer any detrimental treatment for raising a genuine concern.
Ongoing Commitment
This statement will be reviewed and updated annually. We are committed to improving our practices and ensuring transparency as our business evolves.
